Unfortunately, there are no therapies I know of for most of those.

Ipatasertib+ abiraterone has been found to be beneficial for men with PTEN-loss:

Great!! What’s the bad news

The bad news is toxicity.

"Grade 3 or higher adverse events occurred in 213 (39%) of 546 patients in the placebo–abiraterone group and in 386 (70%) of 551 patients in the ipatasertib–abiraterone group"

What does that mean?

Grade 3 toxicity means serious toxicity, requiring medical intervention. Nearly 3 in 4 men taking Ipatasertib suffered from such side effects, and about 1 in 5 had to discontinue it.

Reading your bio and recent post you have a rare form of PCa so i am assuming you mean mutations related to your cancer ( very low PSA presenting cancer which is very aggressive with mets to the bones and under 50 years old.

The only reason i say that is a lot of us have many different mutations that won’t pertain to your cancer type.

Try this link for finding trials pertaining to each of your mutations. This particular link was for IDH2 but just plug in your MUT to get detailed knowledge of each one.

Thanks so much for the advice. Yes, my MO and even John Hopkins said it’s a very rare mutation and the first time they seen it in PCa. I’m interested to see if it came up anywhere else so I posted. I really appreciate the link, I’ll check it out for sure.

Sorry that you find yourself here. Out of interest, is there any family history of prostate cancer?

Thank you! These things happen, I just take it one day at a time. There is no prostate cancer history in my family. My grandad had lung cancer. He was a heavy smoker and was in WW2 (who know what he was exposed to there).
