Docetaxel is throwing off my balance which makes it difficult when I already walk with a cane. Meet my new friend Johnny!

Sorry, Johnny is taken.

My wife's is called Johny Walker Red😂

Be careful if you got the one with small wheels. A rock will stop you cold.

I got her the one with the large wheels in front.

LOL - Johnny Walker - I get it. Some people put tennis balls on a couple of the wheels.

Of course, I knew of all people would get it!

Tennis balls on the wheels? You're thinking of the straight leg versions.

New one have wheels on 4 corners, and brakes

Unless you start rolling down a steep hill and the brakes don’t work!!

I have my mom's walker with wheels and seat when I shop in places like Aldis and need a few items that will fit in the basket. In larger stores I use the electric carts you sit in, the customers always get out of my way. Not proud to use it at all, it does help and sometimes I used it to go to doctors appointment since parking is some distance away. Rock on.

It killed me at 63 to have to start using it 🤦🏻‍♂️

Like my mom always said to me at 90, getting old is not for sissies, I will use whatever it takes to get where I want and get groceries. I look at the walker as an aid to independence , I keep it in the car in case I am tired with a long walk. Good luck and God bless.

Hello Johnny nice to meet you. I hope to not need one in my future but would probably get one of the seriously cool ones. I have my eye on an all terrain motorized chair if it comes to that but the wait time is a year or more. mountaintrike.com/products/... i live in the mountains. So far I have gotten by with my e assist bike as I have enough stability to get on and off it most of the time. I also have a self trained service dog who is with me in Paris right now. He does help me from stumbling and tripling over every bump or crack. I did what was necessary because I wanted to bring him with me but he has actually proven to be useful for stability most of the time until there is another dog he wants to play with across the street ) needs a bit more training.

Luckily there are different transport modes. I live in the ‘burbs, so Johnny is just right. For ease of lifting into my car, I purchased the lightest one I could find.

I hear the Johnny Walker green is the best even better than blue.

I hope you and Johnny have many fine adventures together. I envision a e trike for myself should assistance ever be required, as I still feel the need for speed.

I realize that’s kind of stupid, but for now it’s a pleasing fantasy.

LOL. Johnny is 12 pounds, so I can pop him in the trunk and go places again!

I have been paying attention to what different folks are using to get around - knowing something will probably be in my future - kind of like looking at different cars. I was recently almost run down by a little lady who was moving down a hallway much faster than I. I commented that she was really moving quick and she said: "Love it! I can almost run "

When it is my turn for one, it will definitely have a bicycle bell or an " Ah-oo-gah " horn

"Getting old is not for sissies." What a revelation. Thank you for that little bit of wisdom!
