Vitamin D with K2

Praying2BHealthy profile image

I watched a video last year on this forum regarding Vitamin D needing K2 and it helped tremendously I followed the guidelines and aft 6 months my T started rising so I reviewed all my meds to see what would increase T. It was the VitaminD I cut it back to twice a week and the T went down the Vitamin D numbers are perfect. I want to share the video but can not find it. Can someone please send or repost that video. Thanks in advance

Best to get a blood check on your vitamin D levels from time to time.

You really don't want them over 100. I try to keep mine at about 50, which is already on the high side.

I dont have the video you are refering to, but I do have this study that purports a benefit from D3 overall in the reduction of fatal outcomes to all cancers, including PCa. The benefit is not significang from a HR (harazd ratio) standpoint but its made clear in this massive study that over 70% of fatal cancer outcomes have low Vitamin D levels in their blood...so something is going on. Also, you are correct that doubling time and not TET is the concern. If TET rises and PSADT is controlled there should be less concern. I found this recent discussion on this helpful.
