Time to Total failure?

StayingOptimistic profile image

I have my third recurring disease this year. Any chance that I might live another 5 years based on the recurrence disease? I know it’s a hard question but any input would be greatly appreciated. I do not have any other diseases and I am not taking any medication for anything.

Your bio is not specific, what treatments have you received up to now?

RP, SRT and Firmagon for 12 months. I am not on any treatments at the moment.

If firmagon is failing, zytiga may be a good next step.

What do you mean by "third recurring disease". In any case with very small mets or lesions, I I think ADT lupron or Zytiga would be the next step. Got to get that T level WAY down. Mine is a 7 .( No libido so sad). Do not worry at all bout the next five years, just keep doing what your Oncologist!!! in remission for over 8 years currently!

Keep the Faith!!
