Some info:

"Currently, there are 3 approved IL-23 inhibitors: risankizumab-rzaa (Skyrizi; Boehringer Ingelheim and AbbVie), guselkumab (Tremfya; Janssen Biotech, Inc), and tildrakizumab-asmn (Ilumya; Sun Pharma). The 3 approved IL-17 inhibitors are secukinumab (Cosentyx; Novartis), ixekizumab (Taltz; Eli Lilly and Company), and brodalumab (Siliq; Ortho Dermatologics). "

They are used in dermatology to treat psoriasis.

The ICR (Institute of cancer Research) and De Bono's group in London are trying to develop an IL 23 inhibitor to see if it is possible to treat CRPC and reverse it to CSPC.

There is a clinical trial:

The reason why I’m asking my husband has sever plaque psoriasis and AMPC Gleason 8 ductal w/ crib from 4 cores /15 diagnosed 7/2022

He was put on otelza his PSA rose in 5 days

So he stopped it for 2 days now back on

He took Tremfya for years and stelera

Wondering if he should be on a IL-17 biologic inhibitor instead

MO did not want him on any suppressant but it’s not possible

Head to Toe his skin is the worst case ever seen in many dermatologist offices
