Have been on Nubega for over a month . I absolutely hate my side effects. Very bad constipation and fatigue. I am a walking zombie. My doctor believes in it to lower my rising PSA . I am 76 and hormone resistant. What are my options if I get myself off . I ‘ve had Chemo about 3-4 years ago with good results. Has anybody had problems with Nubega and what are my options ? He still wants me to continue with the Lubron injections every three months . And recently started me on Zytega injections every three months. Need help . Thank you

Consider combining Erleada + Zytiga as in the ACIS trial:

But I doubt you will like it any better.
Zytiga is daily pills, not injections every 3 months
I ‘ve been prescribed 1200 mg darolutamide taken with food since 3/2021 and constipation has been quite severe in the past ( which took me by surprise). I take one 400mg capsule of magnesium citrate in the morning, include plenty of fiber in my diet, drink about 80-90 once’s of water daily, and only use the stool softener colace at the end of the day if I haven’t had a bowel movement, which is rare. As for the fatigue I exercise daily 1 1/2 hours with weights and fatigue only sets in in the late evening when I am relaxing anyway (and it helps with the constipation as well). Best of luck
Magnesium is a naturally occurring mineral that is important for many systems in the body, especially the muscles and nerves. Magnesium citrate also increases water in the intestines.Magnesium citrate is used as a laxative to treat occasional constipation. Less irritating and more effective for me than say Miralax.
