Good news! It's being investigated by my former doctor..Dr. Mark Stein. He is a very good doctor. He left the Cancer Institute of NJ to go to Columbia University.

Yes , I think getting positive responses, even a complete response in a phase 1 safety study may be helpful for a lot men. Still early though!

I spoke with Dr Stein recently about this trial (NCT03972657), which he feels I should consider and could benefit from, especially since I am BRCA2+.

The downside is that you can not have any prior PSMA targeted therapy, such as Pluvicto. This has been my possible next therapy, which was recently FDA approved. So, do I start the trial or go with an FDA approved therapy?

That’s a tough decision and would see what your medical oncologist says. The preliminary results in the study were pretty good with low toxicity, so I think they are on to something special. Still too early to know but at least another option outside of chemo therapies. I would imagine you could add pluvicito later since it’s FDA approved. Nonetheless I think the PSMA targeted treatments will be the future for this disease. Keep us posted and best wishes!!
