LU-167, looking for treatment

Mayo Clinic does not have LU-167. Does anyone know of a location in LA or Orange County that has the treatment?

The hospital where you are getting the treatment does the triage.

I am a patient at the comprehensive cancer centers of Nevada. they do not offer it at this time so they are checking around And I am also trying to take the initiative

There are a couple of trials for Lu 177 PSMA treatment in California. Perhaps you may qualify :

I guess you mean Lu177. Lutetium does have a 167 isotope (and lots of others), but it has a half life of less than and hour, and I am not aware of any nuclear medicine applications.

OK, you're talking about 177Lu-PSMA-617, aka Pluvicto. Got it. The radionuclide is 177Lutetium. The "167" is just a typo. Thanks for the clarification.

thanks JohnI had radiation in 2017 along w/ brachy therapy. In 2019 my PSA was rising and the bone scans showed it had escaped to my L-2 and Pelvis. They have me chemo but it did not do anything (though Dr Goodman at comprehensive Cancer Centers in Nevada called it a great success. Now I am taking Erleada and Orgovyx. My PSA was in check at .1 until 9 months ago when it started rising. it is now about 1.6 So Good man concurred that I am now "castrate resistant". I mentioned RU-617 or what ever it is and he agreed that might help (so reassuring) now they are trying to find a location that offers it. Huntsman in SLC called and Nina was very nice. She said there is a shortage of the stuff and will keep me posted. I think they want me to go up there to meet with doctor. CCC sent my files. I appreciate all the help you and others are offering me. I am very grateful. Oh, I turn 64 on 9.11
