Xtandi time to take

What time do you take xtandi, ? I have been taking it with breakfast but around dinner time I feel nausea then around 7 I am starving. The pharmacist suggested I take it before bed so the side effects would be less, usually go to bed around 2am and eat breakfast around 10 to 11 or so. Going to give it a try tonight, with insurance, extra help and epic it will only cost 20 dollars a month after the initial month each year. I should have done this with epic two years ago, drugs are cheaper than through the insurance company on others also. Blood pressure medicine would have cost over 28 dollars but through epic it was only 3 dollars.

I started taken xtandi June 13th. I take the 4 pills before I go to bed between 10:30 and 11pm. The pills help me go to sleep, so far I have had no side effects. I’m also on lupron every 3 months .

40mg each 160mg. You are taking two pills. How’s that working for you?

Getting blood work in about 2 weeks, more intense hot flashes and a little tiredness but not much else, will post you with the results.

I take around 8 - 8:30pm, I’m usually in bed by 11:00, and up before 7:00. If I took it in the morning I’d want to sleep all day.

I took xtandi in the morning so any side effects would not interfere with my sleep.

It is a new York state help with scripts for seniors, my mom had it and saves a ton of money and based on income only.

I take 4 pills at 9pm each night. Few issues. Some hot flashes at night. To bed around 11pm up around 8-9. Some fatigue. Feel I’m tolerating well. Since 12/2020.

When I first started Xtandi the pharmacist said to take before bed because the primary side effect is fatigue and that will just help with sleep. I still had to get up a couple of times a night to pee but I would immediately fall back to sleep afterwards.

Xtandi worked for me for 6 years.

What does Epic do in healthcare?

Epic Systems is one of the largest providers of health information technology, used primarily by large U.S. hospitals and health systems to access, organize, store and share electronic medical records.

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

It is a state run to help seniors with their medications, it has a deductible based on income only, some medications cost 3,7,12,and 20. The xtandi costs me after the first month of the year 20, that is after the insurance co pay, hospital help and Epic.great program especially for Cancer patients like me, should have gotten it 2 years ago and would have saved me thousands.
