Does anyone have multivitamin/progression data?

A breakdown of progression (or at least incidence) by particular vitamin and dose would be nice. That might be asking too much but at least a comparison of one, two, three, four, .... 21 per week would be helpful.

Hello RSH1I'M Happy to share the knowledge I have with my use of nutraceuticals with my husband's stage 4 PC.

I do have a degree in Health and Nutrition and am board certified

However, that has not helped as much as, the years of trial and error have

Here is what is helping us;

Vitamin D 4000 -6000 IU daily

Milk Thistle

Omega Fish Oil or Flaxseed Oil

Magnesium

Curcumin

Multi Vitamin and Mineral combination

Grape seed Extract

Olive leaf

Wheat Grass Juice

And a few others but those are the main ones I find Helps him

For us we also try to be positive, but as many of you know, it is so hard with little to no energy, and the other deficits with this disease.

I hope this was of some help.

Hi and thanks.

Two things that help me with fatigue are exercise and a good night's sleep.

And I'm not shy about taking a 45-minute nap in the evening if I get tired.

Did he ever have RP?Kegels help with the inconvenience. Even a few minutes a week makes a big difference for me.

My personal opinion is that eliminating as much animal protein from your diet as possible and exercising are going to have more positive effects in the long run than any supplement with the possible exception of Sulforaphane and Modified Citrus Pectin but things are inconclusive for those. Just my 2 cents and that of the top Urologists I've consulted. I believe too many anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatories can be counter productive. Your question is a good one for Patrick. If you search each supplement individually, you will find past at length discussions on them.

Exercise isn't sexy. It's hard work. So it's not as enticing as popping a magic pill. But it works. Reduce the saturated animal fat. Exercise hard every day (weights most days, cardio some days, maybe one full day of rest but that's a maybe).
