I know someone who has, but it didn't work. He is contemplating Aquablation, HoLEP, or TURP now.

Has any one had the Urolift procedure after radiation

I am going to have the Urolift done next week to try and help with my urinary problems. I can not empty my bladder without self-catheterizing every 6 hours and I still have to get up the urinate small amounts six times a night.

Has there been a clinical study on Prostatic Artery Embolization and the impact it may or may not have on PCa?

This procedure has been around for quite some time for BPH, specifically targeting patients that have large prostates or patients that balk at other procedures like TURP, Urolift, etc. hopkinsmedicine.org/health/... If cancer requires

Urolift or HoLEP?

I am considering either a HoLEP or a Urolift for my enlarged prostate but cannot make up my mind. I have seen two consultants and they obviously suggest the procedure they are trained in. Which is longer lasting and has less side effects? Have any of you had them done?

UroLift and prostate Ca treatment/s

Had a UroLift implant a year ago, now have to consider prostate Ca treatment options. Does anyone have experience researching the question of treatment options relative to the device material integrity?

No more active surveillance for me

I might have waited for TOOKAD or Tulsa Pro (both non-radiation alternatives to surgery) but a 2015 UroLift implant (for BPH symptoms) was a cause for anxiety. If I had higher volume prostate ca, I would have considered surgery.

UroLift and radiation?

Previously, to relieve BHP symptoms, I had a UroLift implant. Now have prostate CA. I’m leaning towards radiation but concerned about radiation effects on the UroLift material. I’ve asked but not getting a good answer from UroLift. Has anyone on this forum had radiation after a UroLift implant?

Humana Denied Treatment for BPH

I didn't want to have this because of the possible side effects, and lately he has told me they are now doing the Urolift procedure which is less invasive and less side effects and quicker recovery.

PC Biopsy results

Just got to recover now from the biopsy and let all the swelling and bruising go away, urologist is also talking about a possible urolift procedure to help with the urination problems but at the moment I can live with the frequent trips to toilet.

UroLift anybody?

Now to fix it, they want to do a urolift. I watched a few videos of the procedure, and also TURP, and other procedures. Most are not pleasant. The urolift looks promising. Tell me what you think, Joe
