Ironically, it was information from you personally that most closely touched me - that my decision to have part of my specialist visits privately, with my wife waiting outside was not unreasonable. (I had the private part at the beginning of each visit - I explained to my wife that I needed to absorb the information slowly myself, before there was any discussion.)
