The 37 Ford has been in the shed all winter and she has no place to go. All car events, parades in our state have been cancelled. Travel over the boarder to Stanstead Quebec to my favorite eatery is not possible. Unfortunately, she will have to wait till next year. My fruit and vegetable gardens is keeping me busy as well as my sawmill business. A lot of people have turned to gardening so I've been cutting cedar for their new raised beds.

Back in the day we referred to a "nice grill" to a woman's figure. Not sure if that was your lingo in your part of the country. Another subject. What was your deciding factor to have a orchiectomy? My MO doesn't offer an opinion or advice on the subject. He wants to know if its the cost of Lupron? I get my Lupron and Xgeva every 3 months same day which is convenient. I know there is a risk of infection. I have no side effects other then it is depleting bone and muscle.

I’ve heard “ nice rack “ before . “ nice grill “ is more eloquent ... my specialist told me that t feeds pc and I said off with the juevos . He said “ wait for one year to be sure”? So I did . I went into remission right after imrt . He told me that I’d be on adt for life . I’m on a pill test adt drug that stops the signal from the pituitary gland to the adrenal to produce t. I shut down the t factory with the orch . So I think I’m good ll But as we all know we can have 2-3 million pc sells unable to not visible to any scans . So there is that . We are into life extensions ..I was so happy to skip the Lupron shots after 18 months of them . I was already chemically castrated and my balls were very tiny ( melted away from adt) and a bit painful . No more worries of protecting the family jewels or getting kicked in the nuts anymore .For me it was a good decision. But if I ever want to have t again I’ll need to inject it . This is one convoluted disease . What works for one doesnt always work for another .I would think that in third world countries that the first line of defense is an orchiectomy . For cost alone ? I looked at , like that guy in Utah with his arm trapped by a boulder . He cut it off with a pocket knife . Anything to live another day ! The orch was a simple snip snip for me . A little discomfort for a few weeks . I did go through a depression right after . Feeling like a bull put out to pasture. I just accepted my lot . Now the balls are a distant after thought . Addios juevos !! 🌵😎

How about nice headlights. Most headlights went away and were put in the fenders on passenger cars in 37 but sat on the fenders on trucks for a long time.

Back to our health. I've been chemically castrated for 30 mos and still testing at <7. I'm 76 so to bring back testosterone in the future will not be tried. I'm adjusted to my current health situation. I am experiencing bone and muscle loss which I'm working on to stabilize. I do read about potential infections by doing away with the boys and mentally I think I can deal with it. I think I'm talking myself into having it done. We have had only one Covid case at out hospital and I think it would be safe to proceed.

Looks absolutely beautiful and original in photo. Isn't '37 a relatively rare vintage? If you drive it on highways much, I hope you've at least installed hydraulic brakes.

I stay on the back roads and cruise about 45 mph max . Henry said that he reengineered the brakes on the 37-38 with cable brakes which makes them stop better than hydraulics. He was wrong and he finally went to hydraulics in 39. He was behind the times because he was so cheap. I never converted mine to hydraulics. As far as originality, I put an electric fuel pump and dual smitty's on it. Still have the original flathead engine. Bob

Understood. Great that you still have the flathead. Funny how about 60 years ago (when we were replacing flatheads with then-new Chevy V8s), Chevy V8s were worth >10X ford flatheads. But now, Ford flatheads (if you can find one) are worth >>10X Gen-1 Chevy V8s.
