Anyone familiar with this blood test please (Lactate Dehydrogenase (LD))?

3 months ago mine was 130, today it’s 208. Does this mean PC is progressing?

Thank you

Not necessarily. Do you have liver infiltration?

I am not aware Of any liver issues, alt and ast values are within range. I have not had a chance to see a doctor yet. Appointment is on 3/12 but I just panic.

Thanks a lot TA for answering. I appreciate it.

Thank you , Nal. I appreciate it. I did some weight lifting two days before the test and I heard that excerise can elevate the numbers.

Make certain that you have taken the _same_ test.

My log shows results within two very different ranges re. normal values:

a) 122-225, or 125-220, or 120-240

b) 170-480, or 240-480

To make them comparable, I convert them to a percentage of the max. normal value.

Thank you, justfor.

It’s the same test test and same reference ranges. It said on the comment column this remark “Slight hemolysis contributes to possible elevation of LDH results.”

We monitor LDH, CRP (c reactive protein), & SED (Sedition rate) EVERY month. THE TRIFECTA! When ALL are out of range then your body is cancering and you need to take aggressive action. IF only LDH went up then you have inflammation in your body & your mitochondria are turning off so it’s time to be proactive BUT you won’t necessarily be behind the curve.

Look at your recent diet, stress, sleep, etc and check in with yourself on what’s driving the inflammation!

Go back & Look at CRP & SED on your labs as well. These numbers will all go up way before cancer tumor show up on scans.

Thank you, Rsdurcher7.

I have not changed anything. The only thing is, about a month and half ago I took the recommended dosage of fenbendazole 6 days straight and the seventh day I had GI issues so I totally stopped and through away the rest of the powder. Do you think this might have caused the rise in LDH?

Thanks again.
