Only got through the BS in the first sentence. the reasons why cancer is more often diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime are (1) we are living longer and (2) detection is better. We are also surviving longer than ever before. Obviously, trying to market "alternative truths." Pure BS.

Absolutely meaningful and great video. Thank you George for sharing it with us.

There will be anger and backlash from agents of Onco-Establishment as this opens the door for newer, cheaper, safer effective treatments which can not make them billion dollar profits. Of Course, they will be angry if patients start looking other complementary treatments to help themselves. There is a movement starting which will not be stopped by SOC dictators. Knowledge is now democratised. Not a monopoly of a few.

Any one can go to PUBMED and read research done from all over the world and its free.

A really slick high-$ video. Lots of compelling anecdotes and pretty scenes backed by soft music. And none of those boring statistics or hard-to-understand technical explanations. Would be a good case study for a class on critical thinking, IMHO.

Hi George,

Thank you for calling this video to our attention. What the video shows is that in the field of oncology it is time for a paradigm shift: the old randomized, placebo controlled trials need to be replaced because they (1 have become too expensive to fund and it is hard to find investors; (2) they take too long to conduct and (3) the single molecule that they produce rapidly becomes obsolescent due to the nature of cancer which quickly evolves to accommodate the new medications. What is needed instead, is something akin to what the AIDS community, Act-Up, developed. An insistence on a different model of research, the so-called "cocktail," and a recognition that placebo-based research is not always the answer for people with a terminal disease. Many of us are already practicing some form of "new medicine" in that we combine all kinds of re-purposed drugs (i.e., Fenbendazole, antibiotics) with our conventional treatment. What we seek is the blessings of our oncologists which the film so sadly shows is lacking because of numerous reasons. The way the system of treatment is set up, oncologists don't have the time nor the motivation to personalize our treatment. Unfortunately, for this, we are on our own. As the video points out, if you are dying what harm is there in adding a few other medications, especially ones that already have some kind of safety record.

George,

Thank you for posting that very interesting link. I think most of us are disheartened by the current approach of trying one drug at a time trying to survive just a few more months.

It sort of reaffirms what many of us suspected. The onco/fda culture isn't budging because of the reasons stated on the film.

However, even if terminally ill patients (us) were allowed to legally clear the doctors from any responsibilities in order to get Rx's for off-label drugs that might possibly help, insurance companies probably won't cover any of the costs.

Sadly, paying 100% out-of pocket for such drug "cocktails" may be impractical for many.

BTW, this reminds me of "Anticancer a New Way of Life" Book by David Servan, who did his own cancer research and lived many years longer than the expected few months
