It is a pain full day I am having had time today all day I am staying on the bed I hope it will be oaky tomorrow

Hmm, four days after infusion? That was when the side effects peaked for me. I had lots of pain during chemo, in the first and third week after each infusion. My blood test numbers kept getting better and better through it all, so let's just imagine the pain being the last scream of dying cancer cells. Hope you feel better soon!

Hang on my friend ...

Myself .. I might have a couple of my break thru pain meds, probably a bit of the Xanax to lighten things up and take the anx edge off ... dunk a couple “ couch lock “ indica cookies in a warm cup of hot chocolate .. settle on a comfy couch , lower the lights and listen to some Pink Floyd and chill lax. In a while things would probably start to ease up and allow you to relax a little. Most likely a peaceful sleep would ensue along the way.... that’s what I’d probably do .. just say’in.

We feel for you brother... pain sucks.

I went to my highly acclaimed oncologist and he examined me ....

I said “ what’s wrong with me doc ? “ ...

He said ... “ Boy ... you sick, you got bugs in your belly “ ...

Startled I thought WTF and said , “ I want a second opinion !!!

He said “ ok ... fine ... you smell funny too “ ( I know ... lame !!! Yayahahaha)

Hang in there it will get better. Side effects can be tough when your cancer is being attacked. If you have some pain meds use them and know it’s ok to spend the day in bed.

Well I struggled for the words ... but then as I listened , I puffed out my chest ... I sat up straight ... I lifted my eyes to the bright new horizon ...... my spirit lifted ....... ........ .... then , ..... then ...... dang nab it .... yea it popped into my head ....” was that Alvin ? “ . And did the rest of the chipmunks voice change as well ??? Rats ... I mean chipmunks... whatever ..

One of my cats got Steamboat Willie last night. The cats are serial killers. Now my son must come over for burial detail. Alvin the chipmunk, moles, gophers, grasshoppers and birds by the dozen. All consigned to the dustbin of history. And as I lie on my couch in the evening, binge watching t.v., I see their green eyes, watching, watching, waiting.
