MSI-Hi is very rare in prostate cancer. It can be diagnosed from a biopsy of metastatic tissue. It is a genetic abnormality that responds to Keytruda. Why do you ask? Were you diagnosed with it?

I’m in the process of putting together an update following the operation on my spine, but, just to let you know, diagnosis of the tumour that was removed showed it was MSI positive. My oncology team say that makes immunotherapy more likely to work - but then they said the fact that I have the BRAC2 mutation made Olaparib more likely to work, and it didn’t. Overall, I guess I’m feeling positive about this discovery - in an every-little-thing-helps kind of way. I’ll update on this as and when I get more info. Would love to know if anyone has any further news.
