As 2018 comes to an end, I pray that all of you take this day and the next to reflect on the positives of the year past, no matter how small or trivial anything may seem. Take the day to forget about the disease, hug your other, a friend, pets, a stranger, sip on a coffee, relax and look forward to a new year ahead with a fresh attitude.

A day or two without the worry of what may be or next steps will not hurt you.

You all deserve it!

2019 resolutions for us are “Patience, Positivity & Prayer”. We wish you all a very Happy New 2019!

With love, Sheri and Chris

For me no praying, mild impatience and realism not toxic positivity.

Each to his own

Have a great 2019 to everyone whatever your beliefs and coping mechanism

Happy New Year, Sheri and Chris! Loved your message.

Unfortunately, I ended 2018 with a 12/31 visit to the Mayo in Jax. After becoming blissfully complacent for the past 3+ years with undetectable PSA, my reading yesterday was 0.12. Not horrible, I know, but an indicator that my cancer is becoming resistant to the ADT (Lupron and bicalutamide), and a very disappointing slap of reality to start the new year. So, after another shot of Lupron in the rear my visit with my MO was to discuss how to proceed at this point.

Sheri, Chris and all my brothers - There's a lot of love and beauty in this wonderful world. Always remember that. We have a tough fight so we need to concentrate on those things that give us strength, not the things that take strength away or make us weaker.

God bless you all and keep on fighting the good fight!
