Oh, something else to look into. How did you hear of it?

Hi,

Take a look at my post of 8 months ago:

"Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Medicinal Fungi - Chaga - Inonotus obliquus"

& a folow-up:

"Betulinic Acid / Chaga mushroom".

The best stuff is harvested in the artic circle, seemingly. U.S. harvested chaga isn't potent. I trust ORIVeDA:

oriveda.com/e-chaga.php

You can get it via Amazon:

amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywo...

I get the chaga powder from chaga.ca and find it to be of excellent quality. It's reassuring to hear how they sustainably harvest it and grind it at low temperature to preserve the nutrients and gives me more confidence in the benefits of the product. Not promoting but I do like the way they run their business.

I often have a small crockpot going at low temperature for several hours and drink this daily at home as well as bringing a bottle of it to work with me. It's important not to overheat the chaga or you'll destroy the betulinic acid, a key ingredient that makes it a powerful antioxidant.

Making teas from bulk ingredients gives me a good feeling that there are real benefits to consuming it. A heads up that over consumption can cause blood thinning for those who may be affected.
