Spot radiation and lowered white blood count

Spot radiation and lowered white blood count, I'm in disagreement with a health care professional regarding the side effects of spot radiation on bone mets. Two of the known side effects of radiation treatments are fatigue and a lowered white blood count. The health professional claims that it's impossible for spot radiation to effect my white blood count because the affected area is incapable of producing white blood cells. I disagree believing that spot radiation is capable of having a far ranging effect.

Currently my white blood count is 2.4 and more importantly, my absolute neutrophil count is down to 1.1.

Opinions please, to be honest, I place more faith in this community than I do in those raving maniacs that don white jackets.
