There are ALWAYS tradeoffs. I'm taking Prednisone to counteract the effects of Zytiga. Predisone causes my skin to bruise and break easily. Adding aspirin to the mix would make the frequent bleeding worse.

I'm just getting over blood in my urine after prostate surgery. I've sworn off NSAIDS, of which aspirin is at the top of the list, for the last several weeks. My hematuria seems gone now so I wonder if I should take low dose aspirin. I am probably supposed to take that for my very occasional atrial fibrillation episodes. There are so many decisions, choices, and things to know about in dealing with this prostate cancer disease. Good luck to you and thanks for the information.
