It's frustrating to read about individualized treatment based on genetic screening. Anyone have experience with Fredhutch center?

I am a patient at U Washington Med Center. My oncologist has a lab at Fred Hutch. So far my genetic testing hasn't led to innovative treatment. But I am doing ok.

Live2day,

Genetic based treatment has a long way to go before it hits prime time.  For some cancers it is more advanced, but for prostate the times are till very early.  There are some recently gained insights into using some blood markers to better know when Zytiga might work, but only Johns Hopkins in Baltimore MD can give this test and there are massive numbers of protocols and hurdles to get over to access this test.
