hi , I was on Elvanse 20 mg for 6 days and had some crashes in the evening, but the sixth day was the worst as my muscles became very stiff and mood very low, would this pass if I continued ? Anyone know

20mg is the lowest dose, you probably need an increase. Your body and brain will adjust to the dex, which means the ‘crash’ can cause a depressive state, muscle issues and tiredness.

Few months ago my doc started me on 50mg, right away. (Used similar short acting dex before, so he knew what probably was the right dose for me, anyways…)

It really changed things for me, but 2 weeks ago I had similar symptoms… He then advised me to quit for 4 days… those days were awful, I was extremely tired and depressed, couldn’t function at all. Guess what, back on Vyvanse and my depression was gone…

now I dissolve my 50mg dose in water, and divide it, so I’m taking 25 round 07:30 Am and my next dose around 12AM/1:00 PM this works better for me, cant explain why… because I don’t experience it as a lower dose, it feels the same, I just dodge the drainy feeling I usually got, between 1-3 pm.
