We started giving my 10yr old son Melotinin at night and let me tell you!!!!!! It has been amazing. He goes right to sleep and sleeps all night. He is getting more sleep then he ever has. I don’t know why we have t tried it sooner.
I recommend giving it a try if your child has sleep issues. 😃

Great news! My 7yr boy has the same sleep issue. I spoke to his pcp & will start this week and see how this helps him. We thought about buying a weighted blanket too. He sleeps better when wrapped up... yes we will b trying melotinin. Thanks!
I forget about weighted blankets!! Where did you find yours? Give the melatonin a try😃 My son is rested and has been nice to us 😳 My husband and I are surprised. My son seems to “feel” better too. Thank goodness! Going to enjoy it as much as possible .
My sister has gotten Medicaid to pay for hers... well me I am researching about buying one on amazon or making one. My child likes cool blankets and soft ones. Texture of course. So I’ll b getting one that doesn’t hold heat on Amazon plus possible a weighted vest for school.
While I am happy everyone found some good for their kids... please don't forget that regular exercise is also a great way to get your kids to sleep.
My grandson has little trouble falling asleep after a few hour of swimming. In fact it has him going to bed without having to be told go to bed. Summer is here and I'm already looking for the best activities such as riding his bike in the park, more swimming instead of one day a week, and activities in the park sponsored by our local library at various parks around the city.
I'm hoping I can peak his interest and try to keep him outside playing and not fighting with neighbor kids.
Happy for you all and yes we tried melatonin especially during those hard Colorado winter days when I know he wasn't going to sleep.
Thank you for sharing. I do make sure my son gets exercise everyday; riding his bike, yoga and he plays baseball. Our trouble is he has a hard time falling asleep AND staying asleep. He is up and down at least 2-3 times during the night. Which then snowballs into other issues that pop up due to his being exhausted. He has been getting solid sleep as of late and it has really helped his symptoms 👍🏻
