Yes, I suffer with the same pattern. However this only started for me when I was given the coil. I’ve had it removed and had irregular periods since. Are you on any contraception?

No not for about 6 months dr said that it’s the adenomyosis bc it only takes a month or two to go back to regular cycle and when it wasn’t normal and had massive clots that’s when I went to see him in November and that’s when I found out I had the disease. It literally came at 2am this morning and the cramps are extremely painful unfortunately I have every symptom of this disease and it’s only getting worse.

So sorry you are experiencing it so badly. I’m not sure if you have found a specialist or are with a specialist but someone sent me a list of specialists around the country who can help, if you have access to them. I guess from my experience, having a medical team that understands your disease is so much more helpful for when you do have irregular periods or severe pain. If you’d like me to share this with you, please let me know. Not sure if there is a way to private message on here.

Something I also find super helpful is a TENS machine. I have some days that I don’t take it off at all but it provides some extra comfort along with pain meds. If you are open to it, it’s worth trying for the pain.

I’m so sorry it’s so painful and sending lots of love and hugs. Adenomyosis is a horrible disease and no one deserves to be in pain like this. Happy to share some more of my relief tricks with you, anytime, just let me know xxx

Thank you for that and yes I have a dr he’s the top gyno specialist for endo and adenomyosis in broward Florida I’ve been w him since I was 20 he’s done both my other surgeries in the past but I appreciate the offer. I’m mostly on here to vent share experiences and to know I’m not alone in this. My family is supporting me but they can only understand so much I needed other people to talk to and I’m very happy to have people I can talk to now it’s made me a lot let stressful

I'm fairly regular (anytime between 26 and 36 days) but lasts about 2 weeks with large clots, filling the toilet with blood for a few days (about 4/5) then light to spotting for the remaining. But some months no notable clots and not as heavy 🤷🏻‍♀️. I have a close friend with adeno and she experiences horrid bloating and irregular periods, but only last a normal amount of time - no notable pain or other symptoms.

Such a horrid exhausting disease. Sending hugs xx
