Can anyone share short and long term side effects you have had with EBRT, especially the Image Guided RT with the gold seed markers.

Had 25 sessions of radiation with the markers and gel protection to both prostrate and pelvic area at the same time. Some minor diarrhea and loose stools for about 6 months and since then it has been clear sailing.

My pelvic area was done as a precaution for microscopic cancer potential. I was on Lupron 2 months prior and 4 months during and post radiation. Honestly that was worse than the radiation.
