Can anyone give any experience with a urinary incontinence sling post-RALP?

OK, to make a long story short, I am three years post-RALP.

I had a terrible urinary incontinence issue after the RALP and it took about nine months, including PT sessions with someone who used biofeedback, for me almost to overcome it.

But to be honest, I still am not yet entirely dry - I wear one adult diaper per 24 hour period, and by the end of the 24 hours, it is damp -- not wet, but damp. I also need to urinate pretty frequently: maybe every three hours, including at night, which is of course a pain in the neck.

So. My urologist ordered a urodynamic exam, and the results show that my sphincter is still weak. Urologist has now asked me to consider having a sling put in.

Do any of you have any experience with one of these? To be honest, I am a bit recalcitrant -- I have a feeling that my urologist did not do a great job with the RALP itself (I was not as PCa-wise as I am now and did not ask how many he had done before mine, and I have a sinking suspicion that he did not do a great job (I have ED issues and even anorgasmia), so I am not keen to have him operate on me again, but I am not really enamored of the idea of giving an entirely new urologist a crack at me either.

Of course, I realize that inserting a sling is not as sophisticated a procedure as a RALP, so maybe I am getting too concerned.

Anyway - if any of you have any experience, I'd be grateful to hear how it went. Thanks in advance.
