I should have had a follow up MRI in March of this year, cancelled and taken off of list by X.Ray department due to Covid , I phoned and spoke to my Consultants secretary about a month ago and she told me I should not have been taken off of list, she said I will look into it for you.......still waiting !! I did say I feel like I have been forgotten about!

My brother's inability to get a face-to-face appointment with his GP delayed the initial referral, then we were told he wouldn't get an appointment with a consultant until late November, so had to go private to speed things up. EVen then, the wait for the MRI was longer than usual because private hospitals are being used by the NHS for scans and routine procedures to reduce waiting lists.

My husband was diagnosed in January and didn’t have a face to face appointment with his Neurologist until 3 days before his gamma knife surgery, not been able to be with him through it was so hard

Update to my earlier comment: my brother's operation was cancelled with less than a week's notice because of expected Covid pressure on HDU beds. Was then rescheduled quite quickly (we suspect his consultant intervened), but the stress of the experience was huge.
