I'm so worried I'm homeless and I've ... - Above & Beyond - ...
I'm so worried I'm homeless and I've got severe depression Im feel so worthless and down. Just wish there was something to make me feel good
I think the first thing is to get some help with your homelessness and the problems that go with it. Have you approached your local Salvation Army? You don't have to be 'religious', but they are trained in accessing the resources you need. Also there may be mental health 'hubs' where they can help you. It is important to keep your physical heath as good as possible, so availing yourself of any food banks, soup kitchens etc. is good. Many of the Salvation Army Corps do good cheap sales of good clothing, too, and have social clubs, likfe our CAMEO, which we have this afternoon. I think one Wednesday this moth I'm being 'interviewed' by the Corps Officer on 'living with depression.

Thankyou for your reply, I've tried everything around where I live and as I work full time (on ssp at the moment) they can't really help me..
Keep active and productive as you can, that helps me. Which city are you in?
I'm in Weston super mare (near bristol)
It is great that you can hold down a job in the circumstances - you are clearly far from worthless - none of us are - and a real fighter. Where have you been for advice on housing? You really need that sorted out. Your work should allow you time off for a doctor's appointment to get treatment for your depression and, if necessary, to a psychiatrist or community mental health team.
Take care
