Hi all.
I'm new to this community but have been in the Behcets UK community for some time. I'm from Northern California and live in a rural area. There is very little health care options here. I drive 3 to 4 hours to Napa to see my rheumatologist. This is a very lonely Syndrom. Im glad to have found a community closer to home. ☺
Welcome 😊 I am also in a rural area in California and I have to drive to UCLA to my Rheumatologist. Ita tough when we have to travel that far for health care.
Hi Tiffany. It'sdefenetly hard to travel far on the days I don't feel well. My neurologist temporarily revoked my license due to absent seizures. That makes traveling even harder! It's been a year now and I hope to get my license back in Sep. I'm so excited to possibly have a little bit of my independence back!! My son just turned 16. My back up plan is he becomes my daily driver haha. 👍🏽
