Finally, a reason to celebrate :-)
I try
antidepressants
, light therapy, and exorcising ,,, oops exercising. And it helps but the other humans beat the blues back into me with the holiday music, movies, and commercials reminding me I can't buy matching Mercedes-Benzes with big red bows for all my loved ones.

New here, Hi 👋🏻
I decided that it was time to get off
antidepressants
and try new avenues because I was ready for the challenge that I knew was coming. For the past (almost) year, I have had major ups and downs in my mental health.

Another useless Endo appointment - anti anxiety drugs are apparently the answer to chronic insomnia?!
I know many people are fobbed off with
antidepressants
, and I’m assuming the same is happening to me. She tried to get off the phone after 5 minutes and I kept asking her my list of questions, so managed another 10 minutes, but felt it was a complete and utter waste of time.

Life after meds?
I was on
antidepressants
and stimulants for nearly 30 years. I chose to discontinue Cymbalta last August based on the lack of evidence of its effectiveness for long term use or how it affects the aging brain.

A Drug To Prevent Suicide Associated With BiPolar Depression
Suicidal bipolar depression accounts for 40% of people who try to harm themselves, yet there’s never been an FDA-approved drug for this indication. Every second of every day, someone in the world attempts suicide. NRx Pharmaceuticals is developing a drug for people whose suicidal thoughts stem

CRP going up?
Recently in general all going ok. Was put on mtx about 10-12 weeks ago, didn’t have any obvious adverse effects other than a bit of hair loss, but doing fortnightly bloods as recommended. At this time was tapering slowly around 12.5 & 11mg CRP was gradually decreasing and test done beginning of July

Tinnitus and antidepressants
Hi I've recently started Fluoxetine 20mg to treat anxiety associated with the onset of my Tinnitus a few weeks ago. I'm also taking Zopiclone 7.5mg for sleeping. I wondered if anyone had any experience with both or either of these. I've read SSRI's can affect Tinnitus. The last few days my Tinnitus

Adhd bp or both?
What now? Is it or isn't it? Wtf...Since yesterday I'm utterly confused. Saw a new psychiatrist who changed my beloved Adhd to bipolar! I'm stunned. In earnest now: I have a very tricky work situation, self-outed as whistleblower for H&S of patients, colleagues and myself 12/21, after 10m filed grievance

getting off of ssri (Paxil) ?
I’ve been on 10 mg Paxil for a little over 20 days and I’m having really bad side effects of worsened panic attacks, insomnia, and now intrusive thoughts. I’ve been told by my doctor to stop taking the medication but I’m really worried about withdrawal symptoms or antidepressant discontinuation syndrome

PERIODIC LIMB MOVEMENT DISORDER
I have not shared for a while. I would like to report that I have been taking the iron supplement every other day with orange juice. Also am taking 300 Gabapentin. I did a sleep study last year and it showed that the PLMD is not disturbing my sleep as it is now at a moderate amount. The sleep study

Treatment Resistant depression
I have been on various
antidepressants
for 40 years now. When one stops working they switch it to another. They used to work for 5-10 years but in the last few years nothing seems to be working well.

Hallucination and delusion
I was given some
antidepressants
but I haven't fully recovered yet I'm told the meds I have taken is enough. It's now 5 months since I gave birth. What do I do and how long will this thing take? I'm worried.
