HRT
Anyway after a barrage of tests and being told basically it’s in my head and having
antidepressants
thrown at me I’ve finally convinced my doctor to let me try HRT. I have an underactive thyroid so my hormones haven’t been normal forever.

I have been in a huge funk lately and can’t do what I rly need to do. Am I depressed or just burnt out? Antidepressants or change ADHD meds?
I was thinking about starting on
antidepressants
, but I am unsure if I really need them. What if I am not actually depressed, and I am just burnt out? Should I still start taking them? What if I just need a change in my ADHD meds?

Slightly elevated bone fractionated alkaline phosphatase with decrease PSA and steady calcium levels.. bone metastases or from recent fall?
Good morning! It's been a while since I've asked a question here because (thank the good Lord) things have been pretty steady and good on my dad's end! So, I've been enjoying the ride! However, that ride has hit a couple of speed bumps and I'm wondering if someone could give me some insight? So, my

I started writing this morning and deleted at least 10 times.
Non of the past therapy,
antidepressants
, or reading of on topic books have helped. Everyday I awake with the thought “ why won’t you let me die, as in , in my sleep. Everyday I think about killing myself. I don’t do it, largely because it seems to me it would be letting the scumbags win.

The best antidepressants
Another good find and, oh, so true. I’d argue this treatment has great side effects, too! 😉

Drowning in grief
I am on
antidepressants
. We’ve adjusted my meds with no luck. He’s now telling me I have treatment resistant depression and wants me to talk to someone who does TMS. I also started seeing a counselor for my grief issues in February.

Depression and acceptance
How do you deal with it. I take an antidepressant. I’m in therapy but am angry about my diagnosis. I need to come to terms with it; accept it and try to figure out changes that I need to make in my life that are going to affect others. I am having a very hard time accepting it. I don’t think I would

Stress and anxiety
I have never taken
antidepressants
due to fear of dependency. I have taken 2 weeks off work to sort myself out. One week has gone but I still have no clue what to do. I have spoken with the my GP and also signed up to my local mental health support group.

Anxiety and depression
I am on
antidepressants
to eradicate these thoughts and feelings. It is somewhat helpful. To anyone struggling just remember that it will get better. Light is at the end of the tunnel. We are all fighters.

SSRI question. lexapro/celexa help my depression and anxiety but worsen my symptoms. Will all SSRI or SNRI antidepressants do the same?
Does anxiety also make your symptoms horrible?

self-loathing
I struggle with self harm and I am on
antidepressants
which work fairly well for me, but nothing makes these thoughts go away. Sometimes I’m embarrassed to even be in public or around my friends or at work because I can’t stop thinking about how much I hate the way I look.

Anti-depressants (Sertraline) and ED support pills (Tadalafil)
I have just been prescribed a months dose of Sertraline. Possibly known as Zoloft in US. 1st time ever trying a medication for anxiety and depression. Sertraline is a type of antidepressant known as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). https://www.nhs.uk/medicines/sertraline/ Planning
