Angina after CABG x3 and Clots
I had cabg x3, aged 56 on 16th September this year followed by internal bleeding, AF and collapsed lung. (I never do anything easy!) Was meant to be a quad but I had no 4th vein to use. Was sent home after 10 days in hospital. 2 days later was rushed in A&E by ambulance with a Saddle Pulmonary Embolism

Restless Legs Medication - Ropinirole and Gabapentin
I was diagnosed with Restless legs syndrome around 2012 and was prescribed ropinirole. I started on 0.5 mg increasing to 1 mg, and this worked for a while. A couple of years ago, my symptoms were getting worse and I was experiencing augmentation. I get the sensation in my wrists now, and my symptoms

Restless leg syndrome
Having suffered from RLS on and off since childhood it now starts in the morning and continues all day until I can take Ropinirole at nighttime. It seems little research is being done what can we do to persuade some scientist somewhere to take this on and relieve the pain and distress experienced

5 1/2 years post ablation
It is so nice to come back to this group and find some familiar names still helping other people. My ablation was successful but with difficult 2 months recovery. A few times I had short episodes of general weakness with shortness of breaths. Every time it happened was after having coffee. Now things

Leg Question after CABG
Hello Just a question on how people's leg wound has behaved after Vein removal for use in the bypass op. After 7 years mine has started to play up with a little pain around my ankle well more than a little pain really! My Dr has asked for a doppler test to see what's going on as I have also just developed

double or single transfer - help!
I’m about to do my 6th transfer and have been recommended a double transfer. I’m 38 five failed transfers, one was a miscarriage. Each time I had a single embryo transfer, other than my 4th which was a double. This will be my first frozen transfer, all previous were fresh. what’s everyone’s thoughts

experience with Buprenorphine
Greetings, I have been taking Buprenorphine for 5 weeks now and I am not exaggerating when I say it has changed my life. I have dealt with restless legs all my life. Everyone in my family had it, one of my brothers gave up on life because of it. I was taking Cabaser to treat it since about 2000.

New to ropinirole
My first time at a new neurologist. He started me on ropinirole 0.25mg 1/day at 7pm. I take 600mg gabapentin at 5pm and 9pm. He convinced me that I don't have CMT but have RLS. My feet are rather numb, and my ankles and shins hurt occasionally. I believe this is peripheral neuropathy, but he did not

Life Insurance Recommendation
Please can any members recommend a insurance company for life insurance. I'm a 50 year old male with no mortgage. I've had a heart condition since the age of two after receiving open heart surgery 1974 (Mustard Procedure) and in 2019 had a stent fitted to help blood circulation. Many Thanks, Paul

Dad has brain cancer, heart issues, and now PSA has increased. Concerned about medication complications..
Hello friends! It's been a long time since I've posted. It's hard to keep up with my dad's health on my end.. we've had so many close calls that his prostate cancer has felt like a bump on the head compared to all the rest of his concerns! So, to bring everyone up to speed as quickly as I can, dad
