Stent not relieving angina symptoms - so far
Last year I began to get mild burning in my chest and back when walking. So angina was suspected. I was put onto aspirin, statin, bisoprolol and ranolazine and they seemed to greatly reduce the problem. I had a heart scan which detected a significant blockage in my LAD. So

Starting pregabalin
I have received a letter from Leicester hospital following my consultation with a neurology Registrar. I am on 1100mg of Gabapentin suggested dose of Pregabalin is 75mg at 6.00pm and 75mg 30 minutes before bedtime, can be uptitrated as required. Does this sound right? I have zero confidence in registrar

Clonazepam with Gabapentin
I've been following this forum for years. Thank you for your guidance. Years ago, a doctor prescribed pramipexole. It worked until it didn't. Weaned off and started Gabapentin. It helps somewhat. I take 600 + 600 three hours later, before bed, as suggested here. I recently met with a pulmonologist

Pmr and heart attack
Hi thereI'm writing for my husband. He had pmr for about 18 months diagnosed after a bout of covid. He did really well with the steroids, they worked to manage the symptoms and he took his last dose in February. Previously he was a fit, healthy and strong person. Pmr definitely took some of his muscle

which Magnesium?
I have read here of several different types of Magnesium to take for RLS. In my case it is Periodic Limb Movement as well. I take Magnesium Citrate 2x 100 mg. But I have heard people mention Magnesium Malate and Glycinate. Could Sue Johnson or anyone tell me which they think is best?

Methadone and cognition
I just had a cognition test and came out "low normal". I have felt the last couple years that my memory is not what it used to be so this is confirmation. However, I feel much more stupid on methadone. Could this be related to my dose? Take 10 mg around 10 pm, and then another 5 mg in the middle

had to call a ambulance
hi everyone, I felt very unwell on Saturday with new chest pain in my left hand side of my chest and found it difficult to breathe. I usually get it in the middle of my chest. My partner called an ambulance and I went into hospital. After ECG and blood tests they didn’t think it was a heart attack.

Hello I have been struggling lately having what I call ‘funny turns’ they are totally random and happen at different times, some weeks none, other weeks 3 or 4 times. My heart starts beating fast, chest pounding and go all hot and dizzy, thinking I am going to collapse if it doesn’t pass. I have bought

Slightly breathless after stent
I finally got round to getting a stent for my mild angina last Monday. So far I feel OK but have not tested things out yet with a long walk to see if the angina has gone. However I do experience a slight sense of breathlessness even at rest. Just a slight sensation that I am not fully breathing. Is

Centralized chest pain. Feels like stent pain.
I had a stent put in 3months ago. I went for a walk two days ago and when I slept that night I reinjured an old shoulder injury.Woke up the next morning and have had sharp centered pain in my chest that I can compare to the pain I felt a few days after having my stent. It's very short. One to two seconds

Helpful information on Potassium for RLS relief
Here is a link on Potassium to help with the symptoms of RLS. I hope this is helpful for some. I take my dose along with Magnesium Glycinate around 8 pm, along with Magnesium oil on my legs. I’m also prescribed Oxycodone 5 mg every 6 hours, along with Baclofen for PLMD. Sometimes, I need to use compression

Dodged Another Bullet
I was on Eligard for two years and the hormone treatment was ended in October 2022. On July 3rd 2023 I had a minor heart attack. Fortunately I recognized the symptoms straight away and went directly to the ER. I had a >90% blockage in my right coronary artery, and ended up with one stent in the artery

My story won't apply to everyone, of course, but you may find a nugget worth considering. I've had mild RLS intermittently for forty years until it recently worsened. I'd always managed it with weighted heat, L-Tryptophan, magnesium glycinate, L-Theanine, and if necessary, a little pacing. At age 36,

Gallbladder
Has anyone here had their gallbladder removed after also having had a cabg? How did you get on working out what to eat and what not to eat? I wasn't given a diet sheet, only advised to stick to a low fat diet with plenty fruit and veg. I'm finding I'm eating the sane things all the time! Fish and chicken

Methadone bliss
From feeling suicidal after so many years of unremitting RLS I’m without pain or discomfort for many hours. I have a wonderful team of consultants who understand and are so supportive brought me to tears My life has improved beyond I would have ever thought it could be. It’s taken for a while so I
