My Story
I have Osteoarthritis of the back and neck which has been going on since December 2016. During this time I have been taking Tramadol as it’s the only painkiller that works. However I am very conscious that tramadol is not a good thing to be taking long term. I have private medical care through my employer

Pain relief and fatigue....
I don’t take much pain relief on a regular basis. I use ibuprofen gel on my thumb joint, which has osteo problems, and I take amitriptyline at night (rheumatologist has diagnosed fibromyalgia on top of rheumatoid arthritis). My major issue is the fatigue, which has been getting to unmanageable levels

Knee pain
Hi I’m new here. I have recently been diagnosed with fibro after suffering with back back, and recently knee pain, since being diagnosed with M.E in 2012! My query is this. I had a hot radox bath last night (the muscle relaxing one), haven’t had a bath for a few months as takes too much energy out

Hyperflexibility
I’ve had migraines for 8 years – a couple or more a week. I’ve been prescribed all the triptans, a beta-blocker, topiramate, amitriptyline and gabapentin. The latter two helped for a while but eventually wore off. I saw a neurologist who prescribed indomethacin, which didn’t work. I tried eliminating

PAF and amitriptyline
I have been prescribed amitriptyline by my GP as I am getting practically no sleep because of restless legs. But I understand it can cause heart rhythm problems. GP says it is choosing between two evils, but when I have an AF attack and my heart is pounding at 250 bpm, I know which seems the greater
