Missed period after b12 shots
Hi! I have been doing loading doses of b12- 2 a week for 5 weeks. I feel so much better! Only issue is now I have no period. I'm about 9-10 days late and not pregnant. Anyone experience this? Also I do not have PA, but something similar that I can't absorb B12 from my blood into my cells, making me deficient

CT scan instead of gastroscopy / colonoscopy with all PA tests normal
My Active B12 was just about into the sufficient range. My H Pylorii was negative, as was anti IFAB and coeliac. Homocysteine was fine too. My neurologist’s physical exam was normal ( though the sharp stimulus was a little less sharp on the feet. ) I have been taking sublingual B12 and the tingling

Having Private Blood Tests Done. Asking for Peer Review.
I am going to have some private blood tests done. Not worth discussing what is needed with a physician who has no idea what is needed. Note: I did figure out that when a physician says they are going to order some blood work that what they are really doing is checking off boxes that show up on the

Good news - After Endo
Well, what can I say? I went to my Endo appointment on Thursday armed with research papers, questions and my stand on having my thyroid taken out or ablated. Quite surprisingly, I saw a different consultant to the previous one I had seen last year, who sent me a letter stating that if I came back,

feelings of palpitations in torso and faint ..
I am new to this sight . Having B12 every 10 weeks since 2019 .. took 2 years to feel better and lose majority of symptoms. Diagnosed with IFA deficiency.. why do I get periods when I feel well and then get a dip even after a B12 jab ? I am wondering if I should be taking folate (folic acid) ? I also

My B12 System
I still go with my neurological system in evaluating success. I am morphing into deciding on treatment for my B12 system which started when I abandoned the concept of adding one supplement at a time without taking into account they all work together and how and why they work together is unknown. A

”Reduced b12” - panicking
Hi everyone, I must confess, about 3 months ago, I didn’t even know what b12 was! But I can only apologise for the essay you’re about to endure. My story is a fairly long and often confusing one but the upshot is, about 10/11 weeks ago, I began with what seems now to be a panic attack in work accompanied

Active b12 versus serum b12
My Medichecks active b12 is 63.1 (range is 37.5-188) but my serum b12 tested at my gp surgery shows top of range. Should I supplement? I also have hypothyroidism. Thank you

Which tests to ask for or pay for to aid diagnosis?
So Like many of us, I SI, couldn't get GP to listen to my concerns about symptoms my first serum B12 result was 354 I think, so he said normal , but we know different don't we. I have told them I SI, and he nearly fainted, especially when he saw a high result for B12. Tried to tell me it was dangerous

iron supplements
hello! I wondered if anyone could recommend an iron supplement that has no nasties in? The GP suggested I go on it because I’m slightly anaemic. I am very careful with other supplements to not have additives that might trigger the AF (like B12, Vit D etc) but can’t seem to find an iron supplement that
