Hysteroscopy standard during Lap?
Hi, I've been given an appointment for my first
laparoscopy
. I was on the cancellation list and have had a month's notice but won't be seeing anyone in Gynae dept until the day of the op. I've read many people talk about having a lap AND hysteroscopy to check their fallopian tubes.

Pain after failed icsi
hi everyone I am on day 5 of my period following failed icsi. It was a fresh transfer so I had not really recovered from the pain of the laproscopy when the egg was transferred. I am having pain that feels terrible and I am wondering what it is. It does not feel like normal cramping (plus my period

How long after excision surgery before you felt improvement of endometriosis symptoms?
It’s been 10 weeks since diagnostic
laparoscopy
where some areas of endometriosis were found and excised. So far no improvement in previous pain. Also the 2 periods since surgery have been excruciating.

Strange episodes
Hi all, I’m going to reach out to my GP but wondered if anyone else has had similar symptoms. I was diagnosed with endometriosis following a lap in 2020. Last year I started experiencing strange episodes of feeling light headed, dizzy, nauseous and suddenly quite sweaty. It would last about 15

I've got my Laparoscopy date
I got a call from the hospital this morning telling my appointment for my
Laparoscopy
. I didn't expect them to come back this soon, I was told I would mostly likely be waiting a year and it ended up only being 4 months. What should I expect to happen while I'm waiting for the day? xXx

After excision surgery, has anyone experienced worsening of pain symptoms for a few months before getting better?
It has been 9 1/2 weeks since a diagnostic
laparoscopy
and excision of endometriosis that was found and still having the “old”chronic pain plus have now had 2 excruciating periods (pain even beginning several days before period on the 2nd one) since the surgery.

Waiting list in Kintyre, Scotland
Hi, I'm sorry your suffering. I waited 16 months to see a gynae. The first two appt were that.... he was on a screen. Finally saw him in person. I'm on the waiting list for a laproscopy, my name was added in August 2022. I made contact 2 weeks ago to find out how long the wait is. I was told the NHS

Pain relief for bowel endo?
Hi guys, I'm 5 years since my last lap - where they found extensive endo around pouch of Douglas. Since then I've had a baby and been on the minipill, but as predicted the endo symptoms are getting worse and worse again. The minipill does help a bit, I also take buscopan for the pelvic pain and sometimes

Hi,I'm new on here and seeking support. Reaction to surgical glue, laparoscopy
I’m a week post lap, and I have small itchy spots at the edge of the surgical glue circles. It’s been 7 days so I doubt it’s an allergic reaction but it’s driving me insane. One or two I couldn’t resist and itched and the best way and I can describe it is blood blisters. It’s just a build up of sweat

A help line that works! Wow what a surprise.
Some of you will know that last September I had a pacemaker installed. At the time of my six week checkup the centre told me that I would have a bedside monitor box that would read my PM and relay any problems to the clinic but that they were out of stock. When I was chatting to my EP recently I mentioned

CA125 blood result of 53
I was diagnosed with endo in May 2021 after a
laparoscopy
and told I had a large fibroid whilst pregnant with my second child last year. Have recently stopped breastfeeding so no doubt hormones all over. Has anyone else had a high CA125 reading and it turn out to not be cancer?

Post Lap Conctraceptive
Hi everyone, I have tried a LOT of different pills.. and tried the coil which caused 9 months of pain everyday. My GP fobbed off Endo, and so I went private. Had my first Lap on the 18th Jan and they found moderate Endo and managed to remove most of it. The pill I am on now (Marvelon) was controlling

Pre gynaecologist advice
I'm getting ready for this appointment as I'm so fed up with pain and being dismissed as a making it up. So far I have had a lap done in my early 20s (I'm 46 now) knly through belly button which they said was clear and told it could actually cause endo to start. This was a general gynaecologist at small

lap recovery time
hi everyone , I’ve got a date for my first lap. Just wondering what the average recovery time is, I get it’s very dependent on what is found etc. To be honest my symptoms have been so much better as I’ve been taking a cocktail of herbal remedies that have been amazing for the pain so I doubt they will
