45, 3 ‘top quality’ embryos transferred BFN
The best thing I did was to get a
laparoscopy
in November last year which revealed I had been suffering with Stage 4 burned out and inoperable Rectovaginal Endometriosis, blocked tubes - one of which was open in a HSG 2019(!) - which answered why I had never fallen pregnant naturally.

Non-medicinal pain management for endometriosis in pouch of Douglas
Hi Everyone, I had a diagnostic
laparoscopy
last week and they diagnosed endo in the pouch of douglas and rectum. The general gynaecologist consultant didn’t remove the endo because it was too close to the bowel and said I need to be referred to the endometriosis specialist in the department.

Feeling deflated
She has put me on the waiting list for a
laparoscopy
but now I just feel so unsure and am second guessing everything.

Returning period after Zoladex ?
Hi, I am 28. I have suffered with Endo for 7 years and was diagnosed with it about 3 years ago. I was placed on the Zoladex injection every month for 2 and a half years. I had my last injection in December just gone and a lap in January this year, since then I have stopped all medication except Pregablin

I feel lost
Hey guys I’m new here! I was diagnosed with endo through laparoscopic surgery in December 2021. I had symptoms for 5 years and waited 2 years for the surgery alone. I also have PCOS and Hypothyroidism. I take 2 x Cerelle pills a day to control bleeding but just recently this has stopped working and

What can I expect from first period after laparoscopy and endo treatment?
So I’m due on next week, had my lap done 8 days ago and had treatment for endometriosis that was found while they were looking. Just wondering for an idea of what to expect when my period arrives? Can’t seem to find much on the subject!

Post laparoscopy
I’ve got my
laparoscopy
on the 7th January! Few questions if anyone can help please! Will they take out things during the surgery if needed or would I need a separate surgery for that? What if they find it on my bowels would I have a stoma ? How did everyone cope after surgery?

The long wait for laparoscopy
I had my first outpatient meeting with gynaecology yesterday, where I've been referred for a
laparoscopy
to try to diagnose and treat what's suspected bladder endo.

Endo pain worse after pregnancy - help?
Prior to pregnancy i had
laparoscopy
removing Endo (Stage IV) but at that time was told there was still quite a lot left. I also have an ovarian cyst and several large fibroids. So roll on 4-5 months post pregnancy. First period returns - it is horrific!

Surgery yesterday
I had my
laparoscopy
and hysteroscopy yesterday and feeling very sore and bloated today. They’ve prescribed me codeine and told me to take paracetamol and ibuprofen too when needed. What can I do to help relieve the pain from the bloating?

Is it normal to keep having to change your dressing after laparoscopy?
Yesterday I had my
laparoscopy
and as I was about to leave I showed them my dressing which was very bloody. They changed it and gave me an extra dressing saying that should do. As soon as I got home last night I needed to change it again.

6 weeks post lap and Bilateral Salpingo Oophorectomy returning pain?
Apologies in advance for the long post but I’m feeling very unsettled. I am nearly 6 weeks post lap which included removal of ovaries and tubes. My consultant came to see me whilst I was still in recovery to tell me that he had found my ovaries were completely stuck to my pelvic area by endo and he

What makes your pain worse?
In better news, I’ve finally been approved for my
laparoscopy
! I’ll have to wait a while for the surgery since there’s a long backlog due to covid but I’m happy I’ll be finally getting some answers.

6cm ovarian cyst
Hey guys, Last Feb I had a lap to remove a large cyst on my left ovary and some endometriosis that they could remove at the time (not all was removed due to it being close to some organs etc) and they also inserted a mirena coil as I had the copper before and it is supposed to “help”. Now, about 14

Waiting times
Hi, I am 3 years in to the TTC journey, never had a positive in that time. I was finally diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis after MRI and laproscopy. I have been told I need further surgery at a specialist clinic...but I found out today this won't be for another year, maybe two. We haven't started
