Doubts on laparoscopy
Given that a
laparoscopy
is quite invasive, how long would you wait before insisting with GP on getting one? I keep wondering, what if I undergo surgery and it turns out there's no endometriosis? What's your experience with doubts on your way to get a diagnosis? Many thanks

Question about ultrasound and anyone else suffering the Irish healthcare system
Does ultrasound actually show anything other than if you are pregnant? I have quite advanced endometriosis and all I've had are ultrasound and the one lap that diagnosed me in 2018. I'm in pain and bloated and fed up with the constant BS from Irish medical professionals, after paying €200 euros for a

benefits of laparoscopy?
can anyone tell me if their period symptoms improved after excision or lasering? they're so reluctant to do one so I'd be interested to hear if anyone benefitted from having some of it removed? specifically that horrid bum pain if possible!

I had my third
laparoscopy
yesterday to treat endometriosis. This surgery was performed privately with a general Gynaecologist rather than a BSGE specialist (like last time).

Why do I bleed after walking?
For the past 5 months I’ve been having Prostap injections to help, whilst waiting for another
laparoscopy
, and the last 2 jabs have started to help me begin to walk short distances again! I have had no periods since my first injection.

How to decide whether to have a hysterectomy
Hi, I'm newly diagnosed with stage 4 endo including 6 cm cyst and endo on anterior rectal wall. I've seen a private Dr who has advised I'd need surgery rather than just trying hormone treatment and my options are either a lap to remove what they can or a full hysterectomy. I'm 45, so fertility isn't

Surgery or try other things first?
And after finally pushing harder to relieve symptoms I have finally had a date for a
laparoscopy
in 3 weeks time. However, I'm incredibly nervous about the surgery, particularly the recovery time and risks, due to being young and very active.

Bladder endo and bowel adhesions
Hi all, This is my first post (sorry it’s a long one!) I am newly diagnosed… 30th December 2021 I underwent a lap which diagnosed bladder Endometriosis (it’s apparently been removed) and I have dense adhesions attaching my bowel to my abdominal wall. Unfortunately, the adhesions were not treated and

Endometriosis chronical pain
I had
laparoscopy
2 years ago but my pain still continue to be incredibly strong through ovulation and period time. Its interesting for me that I have bigger pain through ovulation past months than period. My questions are: 1., What are the best pills that help you through the pain?

Endo returned?
I had my first
laparoscopy
in July 21 and I was diagnosed with stage 2/3 endo. This month I have started my period and the endo pain is back. Is this a common thing for endo to grow back to quickly? :(

General question
Hi everyone hope everyone’s doing fine! Quick question really. I had a lap in July which shown adenomyosis but no endometriosis. Since then I have been admitted to hospital with right sided lower abdo pain. As I still have appendix they’re never sure whether it’s appendix or gynae related. So I had my

Any experiences with decapetyl?
Have just been diagnosed with stage 4 rectovaginal endometriosis with chocolate cysts by
laparoscopy
. My consultant recommends 3 months of decapetyl to suppress endo growth pre-op for a thorough excision surgery of my endo.

Secondary unexplained infertility and IVF
I've since had all tests, hormones, hycosy,
laparoscopy
, basically everything and nothing obvious has come up. My husband's sperm is fine. We tried 6 months on clomiphene with no luck. We decided we were content with our lives and decided to embrace being a family of 3 so never pursued IVF.

Post lap belly button
Looking for some advice following my
laparoscopy
(last Saturday). I changed my dressings for the first time today and the incisions all seem to look ok but my belly button was pretty scary to look at. Is this usually the worst one? Looking for others experiences.

4th time lucky? 🤞
Hey lovely ladies, Had a FET transfer this morning, this is my 4th one and hopefully it will work this time after
laparoscopy
and hysteroscopy surgery. Doctor put me this time on Lovenox injections for blood thinning.
