Hurts breathing in on left side/lung...
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone might have experienced this or some thoughts. Sorry this is so long a post. This morning I woke up and my left lung/back/shoulder hurt, much more so with breathing in. I thought it might be I'd slept oddly and/or my arthritis as other parts of me ached and back and spine

remember how I was short of breath a few weeks ago, went to the ER, sent home on oxygen and told it was a cold. I spent four days on oxygen, then coughed like crazy for two weeks, staring the muscle under my ribs and throwing out a few ribs as well. then silly me, thinking it’s just a cold and I

Rituximab Reaction
Hey guys, on Thursday I went for my first (1of2) Rituximab infusions...although I've had two rounds before. I have it for my IgG4 disease which has affected my pancreas. Anyway, it didn't go quite to plan. 😪 I had the pre-meds and was then started on the Ritux at a slow rate. All was fine. Then

Asthma post COVID
I had asthma as a child and "grew out of it" - never needed an inhaler until 3 months ago. I was extremely active, an avid soccer player, hiking, biking, everything. I have been taking allergy shots all my life which helped make the asthma negligent. I got back to back colds in December-January, the

He now takes albuterol, budesonide

I had upper left lobectomy November 21 which went well and no further treatment required so feel very lucky. The cancer was discovered by chance following an X-ray for something else. Since November 22 I have suffered continuously with chest infections, one after another. I’m being treated for COPD

Nexthaler - any comments?
I recently changed from the normal pink inhaler to the Nexthaler. I don't seem to be getting the same benefits. Anyone else found the same?

Asthma and hay fever
Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. I suffer from mild asthma, and my only trigger seems to be tree pollen induced hay fever. My hay fever is at its worst this time of year. This year, my hay fever has been particularly bad so far, which in turn is triggering my asthma. For the last couple

awful cough since starting suflasalazine alongside methotrexate
my husband was diagnosed with PMR over 3 years ago after a year of tapering steroids and also starting methotrexate he was still getting aches and pains and was given sulfasalazine which he has taken for a year or so and this has helped control his pains and inflammatory markers along side the methotrexate

NHS medication requested from GP surgery
I expect we all have repeat scripts showing when we can request regular medication, and when it was last issued, the date we can request more, and date when review is due. Most of my items were due for review on Thursday 2 March 2023. However nothing has happened, except with my antibiotic Azithromycin

Luforbec
Hi All, New to the forum and just wondered if anyone is having a problem after being switched from Fostair to Luforbec? I got changed over in December and got very chesty, run down and a lot of mucus production that wouldn't shift. My peak flow dropped about 80 points. I'm not breathless but get out

You are what you breath - but what you breath varies...
And so I now have a cocktail of ailments and absorb an unwarranted numbers of pills and
inhalers
and ambulatory oxygen every day. I started out with childhood asthma but that cleared to leave me a fairly healthy adulthood.
