Options for endo/adenomyosis
I’m starting to loose the plot now! My specialist has given me a diagnosis of ‘Suspected endometriosis/adenomyosis’ as he didn’t find anything during laparoscopy but my symptoms fit and I’ve resonated to Prostap injections. He’s given me 3 options, I don’t really like any and I’m feeling stuck: 1.

Massive GI Bleed
Hi. I’m wondering what kind of GI symptoms others have had. I just got home from a 6 day stay at the hospital for a GI bleed. Lots of tests were done. Nothing was found. I’ve been having an array of GI issues ever since my hysterectomy in March of 2018, thing is... my Behcet’s flared January of 2018

I want to tell you a story! More for the women, sorry guys!
This is for the newbies as we tell ourselves that once we were all normal and for me, I feel like one of the old groups now, but maybe more for me as a staid member of this site. What do we really go through and what really happens in between? Well for me everything went wrong after a hysterectomy

Amlodipine
I have recently had my hysterectomy cancelled because of high blood pressure, and I've been prescribed Amlodipine to bring it down so I can have the surgery, which I desperately need because of severe prolapse. My full-body RLS has been controlled for many years by Dihydrocodiene, but since taking Amlodipine

Zoladex following a subtotal hysterectomy (?)
Hi there. I am 47 yrs old had a subtotal hysterectomy in March 19 and as I am still in pain have just been prescribed Zoladex by my Consultant 3.6 mg x 3 months . I have also had 'some' spotting but certainly not like a period. Additionally been referred for a scan re: suspected left ovarian cyst.

New here
Hello, I’m 51, and whilst been in hospital following surgery for a hysterectomy, I had a CT scan which showed up something on my right kidney. I saw the Urologist a fortnight ago and it was decided that I have a nephrectomy in another fortnight time. This is quite a shock to me, as I had an ultrasound

Running and the Menopause.....😳😳😳
Looking for any advice...I'm 52. I've been having symptoms of the Menopause for over 10 years after my hysterectomy. Mainly flushing at night but not all the time. This last month though every day is constant flushes and sweats and I don't sleep well. It's not affected my running though until yesterday

Thank you
After reading a post from Emma I finally do not feel completely alone. My struggle with night sweating and intense daytime heat with extreme sweating have me isolated and even the best of my doctors tend to brush these symptoms off. I am only 49 diagnosed at 45 and actively in menopause until my hysterectomy

Just saying hi and offering any support anyone dealing with endometreosis needs if I can xx
Hi, I'm 33 years old. I've been dealing with endometreosis for the past 4 years. I have had horrific experiences of the NHS specifically in the diagnosis and subsequent treatment of endometriosis, resulting in me spending a lot of money on 3 major surgeries privately. I finally decided to go through

PA or anxiety?
Please help. Does anyone else get vertigo/dizzy sensations whilst out and have to hold onto clothes rails in shops or similar?? I can't handle it anymore and have just managed to come home in tears. I'm pernicious anaemic with no intrinsic factor, and had hysterectomy 4 weeks ago. Please advise :(

Northern Ireland Health Care Sucks!!! Suffered with heavy, very painful cycles since as far back as I can remember and always been handed pills. No matter how often I complained, cried or tried, always pills. March 2015 I started noticing a pattern of debilitating pain more so than normal, it rotated

Any advice on ascitis?
Hi, My mom was diagnosed with OC at the end of 2016. Had full hysterectomy and chemo and was NED till February of 2018. She received a round of treatments and was cancer free for a few month till November. As she became allergic to Carbo Taxol. she was administered Gemzar, which didn't help and is now
