NHS no hope service. It’s very worrisome when you know your I’ll but no one wants to help you , instead just fobbin you off like your a fool
This has sadly been my experience of the nhs for the past 4 years , and hey the nhs has won. They don’t need to diagnose me anymore , no need to treat whatever it is, nothing, they have achieved their goal in my case. Because I have given up on them , and what will be will be . Weeeeeeeee. Anybody else

Subcut buserelin
Hi all I'm really panicking. Did my 3rd injection of buserelin tonight and forgot to pinch the skin before injecting and now I'm really worried that it didnt go subcutaneously and that this may affect the absorption. I'm not sure what I did yesterday, although i know i definitely did it day 1. Does

As a novice trotter I am making my comeback from 15 sessions per week of daily strength and cardio sessions. Of course overuse must have played some part in my ankle injury and followed by a stiff hip through resulting inactivity. I am repeating C25k tried and tested adaption programme with 4 first

Did anyone suffer from Anisocoria as a result of their brain injury?
I was assaulted and robbed at the end of December, which resulted in a subarachnoid heamoraage. About 6 weeks after the initial injury I had a really bad day, couldn't focus at all, really dizzy and extreme nausea. I looked in the mirror and one of my pupils was dilated quite a bit more than the other

Speed vs shuffle-jog
Now, I DO understand the importance of going slowly which were the very wise words of advice I got when I did W1 R1 and ended up with a tomato face... because although I didn't realise it, I was going too fast. So now with W5 R3 under my belt, and my breathing completely under control (to my great suprise

Your multivitamins and brain-boosting pills may be suspect, and regulators are cracking down on the $40 billion industry
Vitamins are supposed to be good for you. But if recent research is any indication, the pricey pills and powders may offer more of a health risk than a nutritional boost. The FDA aims to quickly alert the public to avoid buying products that may contain supplements with unlawful or potentially dangerous

Spring once more
A pale blue sky , showers , wind and yet the signs of spring are all around in Devon. The banks are awash with snow drops , wild daffodils toss and sway in the wind and yet remain defiant against the elements . Since my wife died everything has changed yet nothing has changed . Is that a paradox

Almost gave up this morning. I hadn't run for a week was away in Reykjavik and with the best will in the world I couldn't see myself running through the snow and ice. Came back at the weekend and went on my run - wk8r2 0630am this morning. My back was in absolute spasm I could barley move at all. I should

How to sleep like a Premier League footballer
Well when I saw this heading on the BBC website, I thought great! I have always wanted to drift off fuelled by champagne with a Eastern European super model either side of me ....... However, the article was far more interesting than anything that may appear in a tabloid paper and was very informative

Hair Extensions
Has anyone absolutely hated the hair growth process and opted for extensions? I cry everyday because I hate the way I look. I know this sounds petty but I cant shake it. I do the best I can with the curly mess on my head and I try to straighten it but I cant seem to style this short hair. I realize

Catheter bag questions
I've got a BI injury question about being comatosed and having my catheter bag removed in 2014. What's the MAIN general thing that happened to my BLADDER once this is removed. For instance: 1catheter bag removed 2. Hole stitched over. 3. I'm unsure and just CURIOUS about what happened to my bladder

Are Imodium Instants better than loperamide?
I usually buy unbranded loperamide for diarrhoea but have noticed several people mentioning Imodium Instants. Looking at the packet, they don`t seem to be much different from Loperamide and are a lot more expensive. I wondered if really do work faster or is it just a marketing ploy?

Treatment protocols
My wbc count dropped significantly between hospital blood draw for Monday’s port placement and Tuesday’s blood draw for 2nd treatment. They got insurance approval for Neulasta (sent us off to lunch to wait) and called me back in to do it. Without the approval I was going to have to wait a week. So now

Hello again I am currently in agoneeeee with pain in my left hip/buttock area and low back. My GP gave me a thorough going over yesterday and between us could find nowhere that made me cry out yet I can’t walk, sleep, move etc etc. Sacroiliitis is a possibility. She’s given me tramadol in the first
