My name is Emma and I live in Braunton in the United Kingdom. I was diagnosed with melanoma in 2012 and then had another scare earlier this year. It turned out to be nothing but the wait for the results was just as terrifying as before.

Just wanted to say that I wish I'd found this website in 2012 as it seems such an excellent source of information and support. I was advised not to do any research on the internet about melanoma by my aunt as she didn't want me to read anything that might make me feel worse. So I didn't. But I'm just so happy I've found it now. It's great to know that other young people are going through/have been through what I have (that sounds terrible now I've read it back but hopefully you'll know what I mean!)

Hi Emma I was diagnosed early this year, It’s hard not to research and google. Hope you are travelling ok now! I have had my WLE and all clear so just checks from now on.

That's great It's such a relief to have the all clear isn't it? Happy to report that things are all good on my end too.
