I'm new and just realizing that a lot of my symptoms have been lupus for a long time. Right now I get hives a lot that burn and itch really bad almost like a mosquito bit that lasts weeks...but looking at the lupus rash photos online, i'm not sure mine is the same. Do u have to get the butterfly like rashes on face etc. to have lupus?

No you don't. I have lupus and experience the butterfly rash as well as the hives that you described.
