Qualitative study of Experiences of Services and Treatment (QuEST)
CAN YOU HELP US WITH OUR RESEARCH?
The University of Nottingham has received funding from the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) programme to carry out a piece of research exploring the experiences of young people living with Tourette syndrome. The research will be conducted in two stages and will be advertised on the Tourettes Action web site at the beginning of December.
In the first stage, parents/carers of young people with Tourette syndrome aged 11-17 years will be asked to complete a web-based survey.
In the second stage, young people with Tourette syndrome aged 11-17 years will be interviewed at their home or at the University of Nottingham, or by telephone, about their experiences of treatments used to treat Tourette syndrome.
Each stage should take no more than 30 minutes to complete.
If you would like to find out more about the study, please contact Jose Cuenca (Research Officer) at Jose.Cuenca@nottingham.ac.uk or at 0115 748 4240, who will send you further information.
