I have had tinnitus for a couple of years now. It started, I believe, with a bout of COVID. I had COVID for the 3rd time in October 2023 and the tinnitus has and is continuing to get worse. It's constant buzzing sound with clicking noises and now earache.

Hello and welcome. You don’t say whether you have seen your GP or anyone for your symptoms. Tinnitus can be caused by hearing loss so if you haven’t had a hearing test that would be a good start but the fact you have earache needs checking out. It could be something simple like earwax but our ears are delicate instruments that I think we take for granted - I did anyway until a bout of Labyrinthitis left me with profound hearing loss. You are probably aware that there is no cure for tinnitus but we can learn to live with it. Try and read all you can on the subject but please get someone to check your earache.

To reflect Beesmac 's comment, get the earache and clicking checked out. Wishing you the best. Please do keep us posted and with any other questions.

All the best!

as Beesmac and daverussel say. But avoid any Facebook forums and above all don’t pay for anything unless endorsed here or by The specialist charity Tinnitus UK. There are a lot of “cures” out there. They don’t cure!
