My escutcheones tubes have been block for months and about the time T started. I have seen 3 private ENT doctors and they prescribed nasel sprays. Hitherto none have worked. I expalined to a T expert / proffecinal in London and I was told trying to un-block / pop my ears as many do after a plane fligt can make T worse?

Any feed back very welcome.

have a look at the website of Tinnitus UK and if you can’t find anything there give them a ring on 0800 018 0527. There are quite a lot of utube videos on this and in the past I’ve seen posts here on Health Unlocked saying they can be quite effective.

Hiya, I’ve had clogged ears since July. I’ve been using a steroid nasal spray for months. I was using Adam Fields U Tube videos as well and I found they helped. They started to feel unblocked beginning September so I stopped using my spray and doing his videos and my ears started to clogg again so I’m back on the spray. I’ve read it could be TMJ not Eustachian Tubes and I’ve seen an ENT consultant who did an MRI scan and said everything is normal 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s so frustrating. I have tinnitus also. Some people try essential oils and steaming and humidifier’s. If you find anything let me know 😊

it was a flight ( and sinusitis) that contributed to my T. After landing one ear stayed blocked couldn't unblock. Tried hot steaming for 2 weeks. Christmas Eve desperate to get rid of it , steamed for an hour then went to bed . Woke up to an hour of screeching parrots in my head. The only reason I can come up with is that my eustachian tube was so blocked that the hot steam expanded while I was sleeping and forced its was down the tube . Rather like the noise when you blow up a balloon and just leave a tiny gap for the escaping air . I wouldn't risk flying for about 3 years. Now use "Earplanes". Little plastic plugs, that you use for take off and landing. they have worked for the last 15-16years
