A wee solo trip to Eilean Donan Castle then over the sea to Skye. Managed fine. Lovely scenery.

Lovely part of the world! I stayed near there in a big house on the opposite side of the loch twenty years ago - I think the house had about ten bedrooms so with twenty people it only cost about £ 100 a week each. Plenty of anti-midge cream needed!

Oh fantastic. The weather was changeable so the rainy showers kept the midgies away. Your house must have been amazing. Beautiful area. xx
hi Fuzzy - me and husband drove there from Aberdeen in May of 2021 - had a walk around castle then onto Skye , where we stayed for 5 days then south to ferry across to Mallaig , where we stayed a couple nights , then onto Ft William for a few days , then back to Abdn . this was my last major trip as this severe tinnitus started in Aug 21
Great Suz_2 ! I went up from Central Scotland where I stay. Had 2 nights in Inverness and did the day trip from there. Loved it! Take care. Hope things ease up for you soon. xx

yes , West Coast is beautiful - NE where i live has fab beaches and Cairngorms not too far - and I also love Edinburgh ( who doesnt?) and East lothian . i wanted to go to Edinburgh to visit my son but my T is reactive and goes up on even short car journeys - Hopefully shall do this trip at some point. Thank goodness I have been just about everywhere i wanted to go as I cannot at present.

How lovely Hidden ! Thank you for sharing. It looks amazing. I've never been to Scotland but I have a Scottish friend in Ayr and she wants me to visit her . Maybe one day 🙂

Thanks doglover1973 . I stay in Central Scotland area. It was amazing. I went with Rabbie's coaches round Skye in one of their minibuses. It was a good laugh too. Ayr is lovely as well. 😊
