All Quiet Today...

The roaring tinnitus was quiet today. (I'm on a cycle and at the quiet end)

I went a walk and was aware of the absence of the usual perpetual hiss and buzz... I enjoyed a walk and tuned into the birds chirping.

It was good. I'm going to keep trying to distract myself when it builds up again as it does (over a ten day cycle usually, with a couple of quiet days).

Cinnarzine is definitely helping with the ear pressure.

Take care everyone. xx

Good morning Fuzzy ,That’s very interesting isn’t it , just goes to show you were completely relaxed with the birds and it proves what everyone on here says that if we completely relax our brains from stress our T has little to feed from . May you carry on your good walking in this very good weather we are experiencing. 😃 🐩 🐩

That’s really good news. I’ve had this sort of moment twice in my time with T.Both were different and I couldn’t repeat my experience unfortunately so I really hope you can. If so please let us know.

Maybe you have found something I’m still missing to do that so am really interested.

Thanks for sharing.

Have a good day.

Thanks for sharing. 😊 I would love to have a little break 🙏 Have you taken cinnarizine for a long time, or do you only take it now and again.? It is interesting that it has an effect on tinnitus.

Hi I've taken cinnarzine for about a year. My ears feel less pressured with it. xx

Thanks for telling us Fuzzy, it’s always good to hear good news.Speaking for myself, I’ve been away on holiday from Friday until now with husband and a bunch of friends - we are a walking group and go away together once a year. Lots of walking and seeing birds and wildflowers. Good food and drink and company. So the T vanished. Except it joined me in the middle of the night as it always does.

Fantastic 💜 Sounds like a great holiday. Yes, night-time is tricky. Glad you had a good time. xx

Thats great to hear you are having some quite days. You talk about a 10 day cycle, interested to hear are the number of quite days becoming longer and the number of intrusive days become shorter as times goes on?

in reply tosurreycccfan

Thanks surreycccfan I've been getting longer quiet spells and less ear pressure. I take half a cinnarzine 15mg tablet as soon as pressure builds and I think it is helping plus I was less stressed when restrictions eased up. In Scotland we had masks a lot longer and I couldn't make out what people were saying. All that has eased off. All the best. x
