I've just come across this article about cervical collar and tinnitus, but please treat with caution.

Meandering around the internet while unable to sleep, I came across this article quite by accident:

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

It is about cervicogenic tinnitus and the use of a cervical collar, short-term. I thought I'd share it with the BTA community.

I know from previous reading that wearing a cervical collar without medical supervision can be dangerous. It's best to get medical advice before plunging ahead with neck mobility restriction and thereby generating problems that add to tinnitus.

It is a bit more information for sufferers to add to their tinnitus library though, and it might help formulate a question or two for the next medical consultation where appropriate.
